About Us

My name is Kayla. I joined the Bilyidar Program, because I felt as if I wasn't liked that much at school. I had heaps of friends but I also had heaps of enemies. I enjoyed going to school as I was in many different classes. I attended Halls Head Community College. I completed Year 9 and although I didn't do well at Year 10 I was still able to go to Year 11, which I am completing at BILYIDAR.

I think that people should consider attending the Bilyidar Program because we have heaps of fun as we don't sit in a class all day, we go out and get active. Also we always have plenty of camps. There is a 9 to 10 day camp coming up really soon as the students at Bilyidar get to choose where we go, but it has to be in Western Australia.

There are approximately 25 students that attend the program, from the ages of 16 and older. The students here are well mannered, and always participate in all activities and tasks that have been set. We have English at E2C, Math's at SES, Aboriginal language at Mandurah Senior Campus, sport every Tuesday held at all different places and we also have Hip-Hop classes which are held at the Billy Dower Youth Centre.

I am here just to get as many people to want to be a part of the Bilyidar Program. We start school at 9am and finish at 3pm. The Bilyidar Program is for young adults who don't like attending a proper school. I think that heaps of people should take their time off to come and see how good our class is.

Yours sincerely: Kayla
