About Us

Hi my name is Nikki and I go to the Bilyidar program. The program is about getting young people that don't like school or dropped out, to get them back on the education track and help them get good jobs and good education. We are usually down at the Billy Dower Youth Centre, E2C for English, SES for math. You also get to go places with the group like camps etc. The first camp we went to Harvey Mornington Camp where we had high ropes, canoeing, raft building and flying fox. These were all to get to know each other and group activities to trust your peers and be confident about yourself. The best thing is that you get to meet new people, make new friends, and learn heaps of things that you didn't know before. The program for me I think it has helped me a lot. When we went on camps I learned how to trust others, got little more confidence.
